healthy girl cooking: Creamsicle Juice
http://healthygirlcooking.blogspot.com/2009/03/creamsicle-juice.html
Thursday, March 19, 2009. Orange fruits and veggies are high in vitamin C. So this is a great tonic to make if you feel a cold coming on. Ginger is a great tummy-settler. 3 valencia oranges, peeled and halved. 6-8 carrots, peeled, ends cut off. 1-1/2" piece fresh ginger, peeled. Juice it up, y'all! September 10, 2010 at 8:01 PM. I want to try your cleanse but dont have a juicer. what do you suggest in that case? August 20, 2013 at 9:43 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). About Healthy Girl Cooking.
healthy girl cooking: Apple-Spinach Juice
http://healthygirlcooking.blogspot.com/2009/07/apple-spinach-juice.html
Thursday, July 2, 2009. I've come across plenty of green juice recipes that involve all kinds of ingredients. This one keeps it super-simple and tastes absolutely delicious! You can play with the ratio of spinach to apple to make your juice tarter (more apple) or milder (more spinach.). Packed with vitamins A. Ingredients (1 large glass). 2 medium granny smith apples. 1 10-oz bag fresh spinach. Wash and dry produce and core apples. Give everything a whirl in your juicer and enjoy right away. Dont forget ...
healthy girl cooking: Roasted Veggie & Quinoa Salad
http://healthygirlcooking.blogspot.com/2009/03/roasted-veggie-quinoa-salad.html
Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Roasted Veggie and Quinoa Salad. You can pretty much take whatever you have in the fridge and on the shelf and come up with a combo of veggies that works for this salad. The beauty of using quinoa to hold it all together is that you get a healthy dose of both fiber. Which work together to fill you up and keep you satiated. This time, I used eggplant, zucchini and squash because that's what I was using for my Veggie Stacks with Quinoa Cakes. 2 tsp olive oil. 1 Preheat oven to 400 ...
healthy girl cooking: The Healthy Girl Gentle Dietary Cleanse: A Complete Meal Plan
http://healthygirlcooking.blogspot.com/2009/07/healthy-girl-gentle-dietary-cleanse.html
Thursday, July 2, 2009. The Healthy Girl Gentle Dietary Cleanse: A Complete Meal Plan. You may have read my recent entry. About beginning a gentle cleanse to get back on track after too much unhealthy eating. The intention behind this five-day project was to give my body a rest- and thank it for all the amazing things it does for me! By feeding it only the most nutritious, easy-to-digest foods. That meant avoiding. All chemicals, including preservatives. And enjoying plenty of. Fresh and dried fruits.
healthy girl cooking: Latest Obsession: Egg in a Quinoa Nest
http://healthygirlcooking.blogspot.com/2009/06/current-obsession-egg-in-quinoa-nest.html
Thursday, June 11, 2009. Latest Obsession: Egg in a Quinoa Nest. It's easy to transport sans egg, which makes this concoction a perfect weekday lunch. For a lighter breakfast or a super-energizing afternoon snack, follow the recipe below. For a heavier meal, increase the amounts of quinoa and black beans and add a second egg. I prefer to use poached or over-easy eggs; the gooeyness really pulls everything together! If you're trying to cut fat and calories, scrambled egg whites make a good substitute.

http://coffeeandopenfacedsandwiches.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Coffee and Open Faced Sandwiches. Friday, September 26, 2008. It was a rainy day today, so we took it easy. Cleaned the house, baked bread, made plum jam, spackled some windowsills. all in all, a decent rainy Friday. Okay okay I know. "suspension of disbelief". Regardless, it's a crap film and you should prob just avoid it. The cognac and the company were lovely, thankfully. Anders is like a mountain goat, he's been hiking up these mountains for so many years. He just hops straight up the mountain,.

I finished the 10-day Master Cleanse (and salt water flush) earlier this week, and wanted to record some of my thoughts. Why did I do it? 8220;re-set” my eating habits and start fresh. Detox my system and cleanse my digestive system. Challenge myself to do something I have never done before. Losing weight would be a bonus. Thought that the system would be safe and not damage metabolism or ability to work/exercise as usual. What were the results? I did it for 10 days! Would I do it again? Probably not, bu...
