Saturday, June 5, 2010. MSc Economics @ IIT. I have been receiving a lot of queries regarding M.Sc Economics programme at IIT Kanpur and M.Sc Economics in general. First reaction of all the people who see this in the brochure or to whoever I tell is that how come there is an economics programme at a technical institute like IITs. In the first couple of years, out of nearly 20 courses, 15 are like same for all streams of science and engineering, there are 2 electives and 3 department specific courses.
