ADVENTURES WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. Monday, November 16, 2009. ARRAN - SCOTLAND 6TH-9TH NOV. Brillaint days on the beautiful island of Arran in Scotland. An amazing range of spectacular rugged mountains for such a small island. The weather was mixed on Saturday- Damp starting off, then cleared somewhat and a downpour for the final descent. SATURDAY. Goatfell , Arran's highest point at 874m. Descended a great track down glen to Brodick in torrential rain. Cloudless skies and not a breeze!
