Hotel Himalayan Paradise is located about 200 meters south of the Main Post Office, on Jogiwara Road, opposite the Geden Choeling Nunnery, and just before Chocolate Log. You will be able to distinguish the hotel from ALL the other buildings by it's seating area in front of the Hotel. It is a huge white building with lots of space to sit in front of the hotel. The only building in town that boasts so much seating area is Hotel Himalayan Paradise. 91-97364-33741 (Manager 1 - Bookings).

You must carry your passport with you at ALL times. This is a requirement by Indian Law. Failing to do so can land you in jail, or you may have a hard time at the police station. Not carrying your passport can also end up in heavy fines. In that case, you will have to leave the country and then re-enter again. This is most conveniently done by getting a Visa for Nepal, and then going to Nepal and then coming back the next day. The journey to Nepal takes about 24 hours from New Delhi.

McLeodgunj - Triund Trek. Distance: approx. 16 km (return). Duration: 1 -2 days. This trek starts at 6AM. We will start from McLeodgunj, start walking up the trail leading out of McLeodgunj, and walk up to the glacier. It will take about 3 hours to the glacier, then from there, it is a steep climb of about one hour up to Triund, a tourist spot located at a height of 10,000 feet above sea level.
