Tuesday, July 6, 2010. After two months of trying and failing to make Conner's hair look and stay nice, I finally decided it was time to cave. I didn't want to cut his hair until he was a year, but Conner's hair just grew out too quickly. It was quite long on top! Now I can style it in a mohawk again without any trouble. Friday, November 11, 2011. Ariel and her little dragon before going trick-or-treating. Mama and Conner enjoying each other and the weather. Goofing around on Daddy's shoulders. Conner got cupcakes to share with playgroup, an Agent P cake from his Auntie Dani and this robot cake from Oma. He now thinks every baked good including bread is "cake' and it's a favorite word and dessert of his. Blowing out the candles. Auntie Annie did most of the work. Opening a present from Auntie Erica. Phew what a busy time!

I usually just stick to the Chicken Bellagio though. What I want, you've got. And it might be hard to handle. But like the flame that burns the candle. The candle feeds the flame. What I've got's full stock of thoughts. And dreams that scatter. You pull them all together. And how, I can't explain. I can laugh it in the face.

Proud Mom and Grandma. Thursday, November 17, 2011. I have done things since the vacation that never ends. Don and I took Andrew and Ryan to Mt. Rushmore. While there my camera and phone were ruined. I haven't taken a picture to document anything but we have had adventures. We camped and slept in a tent on the ground for two nights in South Dakota. We saw beautiful things and loved hanging with grandchldren and Wally's family. (McKenna posted pictures on her facebook page.). We blessed Truman in Logan.

Whitney, Brad and Austin were there as well as Daniele and Cameron. We went to Northland Pioneer College (where Jean works) and had breakfast with Missy and her family. Proud Mom and Grandma. Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Wally's kids (my other grandkids). I also saw Wally, Jill and kids for a night or two. You can't believe how big they all are. Walker is 11 and loves to play Angry Birds. He made me play the wii and it was really fun. Addy and Aiden are great readers and in the 1st grade. We played Headbandz and they were hilarious. McKenna is almost 13. She made this cool movie theatre with legos and her ipod. It was fun to hang with her. I love you guys too. Mom.

Proud Mom and Grandma. Saturday, April 14, 2012. Last night we went to Coors field and saw the Rockies and the Dbacks. It was lots of fun but a little cool. This is what Jordan like to do during the game. He was jumping around and fell down so he deserved a treat. We haven't found a good parking place so we pay $13 to pay in the Rockies parking lot and get shuttled to the stadium. This is the stadium at night. It's beautiful. You can't see the skyscrapers in the background but they're there.

Proud Mom and Grandma. Friday, November 23, 2012. Long Summer trip part 2. This is what the back seat of the ford looked like for days and days. I had a bag of blowpops that came in handy. Between Utah and Arizona is the Dam at Lake Powell. We usually don't stop but, what the heck we stopped. There are lots of different things to see in the visitors center so the boys all chose their favorite. Andrew's favorite was this example of the fish in Lake Powell. Ryan also enjoyed the fish tank.
