The City of Atlanta owns the park, but does not have the resources to maintain the complex landscaping without the assistance of dedicated volunteer groups. You can help by “adopting” an area of the park and regularly performing tasks such as weeding and mulching. For more information, email:h4wpcinfo@gmail.com. Although there is no fee for adopting a section of the park, adopter groups may purchase landscape materials, rent tools from the Atlanta Tool Bank, and provide refreshments for their volunteers.
