Bike, Mekong, Smiles and Dirt. Friday, December 9, 2011. Back on the bike. The blog is almost up to date. That was a hectic few months. Settling into a new job, new house, new culture. After 2 months of no cycling the doctor finally gave me permission to ride the bike again - rather nervously I started with short rides. Bike, Mekong, Smiles and Dirt. Friday, December 9, 2011. Decided to head off for an early morning ride on the Cannondale red - rocket road bike. Hit by a car. I won't write about it in detail other than to say it hurt! By 730am at the French Clinic - phoning their emergency out of hours number. Luckily I had my telephone and contacted VIS.
