The Mommy of the Snows gives you a peek into our crazy but normal life. Monday, April 20, 2015. I love my new Velata crepe maker. I had always been intimidated by crepes, getting the right consistency and flipping at the right time. This crepe maker is so easy that my kids can do it without help and even my redneck father can make them unsupervised! Today I made scrambled eggs with bacon on the raclette, thinned down bacon cheddar cheese dip with milk, and added them to my crepes. Sooooo yummy!

So last week when I had my brother's four kids for the day, I knew I needed to make the day special. The youngest kiddo of the day, Drew, is gluten free. I have a secret passion for Starbucks cinnamon buns and I think these are even better! The brown butter was a revelation. I have had a hankering to use it after seeing it on Benjamina from (Bake Off 2016)’s blog. Buns and filling were from this recipe here. And the salted maple icing from here. 450g strong bread flour.
