It's like a slumber party all the time, except that we're constantly on the go, going on splits with members, trying to cover as much ground as possible and we sag into bed every night. Sister Fonua would admit wholeheartedly that she is an absolute slave-driver, but I have never worked so hard nor felt so good in my life! I know it can't have been easy, but perhaps looking back through years of experiece and increased understanding makes it seem so?

Monday, June 21, 2010. Transfers were last night and Sister Bean and I are staying in North Bergen, glory allelujah! HOWEVER- in two weeks there will be a mini-transfer when the Cherry Hill missionaries come, and then nobody knows what's happening. It's gonna be crazy! But we're all really excited for them to come and are determined to make them feel at home and happy in the Morristown mission. Say hi to everybody for me. :D. I think more than anything I've learned how to pray. You cannot survive one...

Monday, April 11, 2011. There are few words to describe my feelings this last week, so I want to simply leave you with my testimony, this last time. I love being a missionary more than anything else. I love New Jersey and its people. I mourn the passage of this time. But I know that it's all part of the grand plan and that I'm just being transferred, called to do the Lord's work and fulfill my purpose in another capacity. I love the Lord, and I just want to please Him and keep serving Him. You can do it!

Thursday, December 23, 2010. Thursday the flakes finally came down, while we were walking, of course, but the first snowfall is so much fun! The phrase death by chocolate has never been more real! It fills me with sorrow for them, and also with gratitude that I was given the gospel before I even knew what a priceless gift I had. More than I ever I feel the burden of my responsibility to carry this gift to others who have not yet received it, and I pray the Lord makes me fit to do so. Talk to you soon!
