Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Travel and First Days. Waiting to check bags after customs in Rio. The older kids in town are out of school for these first two weeks, so they are here almost all day. We're kind of the new hangout. Everyone is up early due to Jillian and the roosters. These first few days have been about settling in, getting the water hooked up (didn't have it the first night), and reuniting with old friends. Dinalda, Livaldo (Monica's dad), Nadeje, Me, Daniel. I am so thankful for what my boys have learned in the pool this summer. Their skills have come a long way. Now, of course, they are still not the best ones out there, but that was not the goal. This is my little man with his favorite coach of three. Coach "Adam". This guy was amazed at how much Andy has progressed! Actually he won TWO BLUE ribbons tonight!
