This Hawk is my first bike and I will probably never sell it. It's only used for one or two trips abroad, in search of nice sweeping B-roads in the Alps or the UK. I bought my Hawk in August 1995, only a week or so after I first admired one in the paddock at Assen. In the official code language of the Honda factory it is a RC31, a name which clearly links it to the RC30, the illustrious racing V-four with the same single sided Pro Arm suspension the RC31 has. It was sold in Japan as the Honda Bros, while the U.S. got it from 1988-92 under the name of the Hawk GT. Meanwhile, in Europe. So why is it special? Hear it from someone else. Other Hawks on the web. The Hawk is an enthusiasts' bike. Despite being around in small numbers its presence on the World Wide Web is second to no other bike, as the following shows. The biggest mailing list now counts more than 700 Hawk riders subscribing to the American Hawk GT Listserver, churning out 30 to 50 messages a day. The UK, German and Dutch versions each have about 50 subscribers and up to a handful messages a day. Instructions and archives can be found on the HawkGT Resource Center.
