Sunday, November 9, 2014. Photo Challenge Week 4: Childhood Memories. These blocks are a part of my childhood. They belonged to my sisters and I when we were little girls, but their meaningfulness actually goes beyond that. They were hand made by our great-grandfather. He also made us necklaces with stones he polished set in metal pendants. I'm sad to say that necklaces are smaller and easier for little girls to lose.
