Sunday, May 23, 2010. Arrival To Hong Kong. View from Hotel Room. It took about thirty minutes to get to the hotel from the airport by taxi. The city was absolutely gorgeous all lit up at night. I was captivated by the sparkling highrise buildings, and the beautiful bodies of water surrounding them. Also, the vast mountains that surrounded Hong Kong were gorgeous. I have never been some where with mountains, and it was a new great sight for me to see. I have posted pictures of the hotel room and the view.

Sunday, May 23, 2010. Amazing news- I am leaving for Hong Kong earlier. June 4 to be exact. I cannot wait! My friend Heather just arrived there yesterday (or maybe it's still today their time? And she herself has a blog devoted to her time in Hong Kong. Check it out here. So far everything looks amazing, especially the gigantic mall called Times Square (above).
