Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Canton-i @ The Gardens - Revisit. Me and Man Man were at The Gardens attending the CPA seminar last week. We went for some shopping after it ended, then we adjourned to Canton-i for an early dinner. Since it's pretty early for dinner around 6 pm, there were not many patrons around. We ordered "Pou Lei" chinese tea. I have been taking quite a bit of coffee in the seminar, and i consumed this for dinner. Caffeine overdose came to effect at night! Dry Noodles with BBQ Pork. I tried t...

It's Mie!: January 2010
http://itsmie-jamie.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 10, 2010. I am glad that Malaysia has many nice eateries around, be it high end or economical. We are never tired of exploring good food around, and it does taste better with the right partner around =). I have managed to explore 2 local kopitiam which has been around in town for many years, and i found the food to be awesomely delicious! The row of shop next to the mosque at Jalan Ipoh,. Near Sungei Mas building, Jalan Ipoh. Some local beverage for our brunch. I ordered MaYao noodle soup.

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Restoran Soon Soon Lye Salmon Fish Head @ Bandar Puteri, Puchong. Wanted to "rescue" my hair before going down south. Was at Puchong, headed to Bandar Puteri for a quick lunch before the salon appointment. As i said earlier, wanted to eat local foods more often before flying off, so i chose to have fish head noodles as lunch. Wanted to treat myself a good meal, ordered. Lucky i had this opportunity to spend some quality time with her before moving down south. We ordered Afternoon Tea Set @ RM29.90. It's Mie!: Teochew Seafood Noodle @ Jalan Ipoh
http://itsmie-jamie.blogspot.com/2010/04/teochew-seafood-noodle-jalan-ipoh.html
Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Teochew Seafood Noodle @ Jalan Ipoh. There is a stall selling teochew seafood noodles specifically. What made teochew seafood noodles special is their soup. Very clear but not losing it's sweetness and the oomph! I think i have blog about this before. Nevermind, i do not mind to share this little hidden gem again. You can choose the noodles from a variety like beehoon, kueytiaw, yee-mee, mee suah and so on, and choose to want it dry or in soup. Piping hot soup in a hot day!

It's Mie!: May 2009
http://itsmie-jamie.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31, 2009. Japanese Chiffon Cake @ Les Toast Puchong. Puchong is really a good place for "cari makan". There are just too many good eateries around Puchong, which until now i have not been able to try. There is a particular bakery which was opened somewhere last year (if i am not mistaken) and i will definitely get something from there whenever i am around the bakery. And it's fresh from oven! It uses only pure cocoa powder, making it simply irresistable. Will hang out a bit frequent in Puchon...

It's Mie!: My Farewell (X)
http://itsmie-jamie.blogspot.com/2010/04/my-farewell-x.html
Thursday, April 29, 2010. On my last day in office, the witty Natalie wanted to buy me lunch and asked my opinion where to go. I really miss local food so i suggested Yap Hup Kee yong tau foo @ Pudu. I really love theire chee cheong fun! This time, i chose to have the ccf with curry sauce. Laden with dried shrimp, it was a goodness in a small bowl. There were 4 of us, we chose to have fried beancurd sheets, pork balls, bittergourds, tofu and the everly sinful, braised-fried intestines! My Farewell Treat ...
