With the observatory complete and the Moon high in the sky last night was ideal to accurately polar align using the drift align method (explained below) and add align points to my EQmod pointing model. First got the polar alignment nailed, then managed 20mins in OIII of this part of the Veil Nebula before getting clouded out. So impressed with this camera so far, the noise is so low! Object: Eastern Veil Nebula, NGC6995. Exposures: Ha - 28 x 600s, OIII - 32 x 600s Bin 1x1 (10hrs total). Processing: DSS, PSCS5. I've started on the 2nd pane in Ha and it's looking good!
