A blog about pregnancy, parenthood and general life. Thursday, February 7, 2013. As of today, Jeremy has weened. Feb 1 2010 I found it I was pregnant. Since then I have been constantly pregnant or nursing (or both). That means 3 years and a week of substance and food restrictions, and sleeping in maternity and nursing clothing. Today forward, nothing I ingest will get passed on to little developing bodies! And I can go back to sleeping in t-shirts! I think I'm most excited about the sleeping in t-shirts.

Thursday, August 6, 2015. I am going to keep this brief.I have a screaming baby and I am headed out the door. I go back to work in less than a week so I am trying to snuggle as much as possible. Here is what we were up to this past week! Boys swimming without floaties. Flying home with three kids by myself. Quinn sleeping for 6 hours straight at night. Trip to the Children's Museum. Saturday, April 25, 2015. We went a visited my mom in Columbus, TX again on Saturday. We always love visiting and exploring new places. We found a great General-General Store which was completely off-the-grid with solar panels and a variety of plants. I found some great succulents to add to my collection of house plants. Which was good timing, Dale and I are headed to Phoenix for a weekend without the boys to attend a friends wedding. I am so looking forward to sleeping and relaxing! 32 weeks 5 days.

Thursday, July 30, 2015. This week flew by! With my cousin still in town we stayed busy by going to Kemah, playing at parks, and preparing for our annual lease renewal. The boys had a great time visiting with Kirsten and her boyfriend Evan. Unfortunately, someone ran a red light and ran into Dale driving the Subaru. Saturday, February 28, 2015. This week was another busy week at school as we had early release on Wednesday and Family Literacy Night on Thursday, topped off with our district assessments. All the stress led to me not feeling well at all as I caught some sort of stomach bug :( Luckily, Dale took good care of me so I was able to get plenty of rest and liquids! I'm beginning my first full week of unemployment today (I assume I won't magically have a new job by the end of the week). It's predictably weird. Things I am struggling with:. I can cook again. I can organize my mess of a house. I can take donations to goodwill and sell things on craigslist. I can paint my bathroom (been on the list for 5 years)! I can reconnect with friends!
