Nice to meet you :). What it is that we do. When we do what we do. We mentioned before that we don’t ‘put stuff on’ for the young people, instead we support them to develop their own opportunities. And since the young folks are incredibly diverse and creative, this means there is a wide variety of things that go on. There are three key parts of what we do though, although these will look entirely different from week to week and day to day. These happen on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 7-9pm and Saturdays 2-5pm.

We are not here to provide a service for young people, but instead to grow a community with young people. That subtle difference actually makes all the difference. Our vision is to see young people on their journey…. Engagement, future, potential. Resilience, confidence, self-knowledge, purpose, broad worldview.

For decades, the grass outside The Steeple Church has been the meeting place for young people who often feel they don’t quite belong in their own local communities or schools. Over the course of the following weeks, relationships started growing, trust started building, and dreams started emerging, until the question was asked: ‘If you had a wee bit of space within the building, what would you want to use it for?
