Where have the days gone? A way to remember…. March 28, 2015. Just letting my 3 readers know that I’ve started a new blog to document my husband and I “moving to the world” :-) I’ll still post other things on this blog… maybe less sporadically once I don’t have a household to manage! But if you’re interested in seeing the world with us (and seeing if things turn out as we plan)… follow me over to https:/ nomadicpasseggiata.wordpress.com/. Our bags are packed…. November 13, 2008. Didn't know about. I got ...

Prattlings from Skinned Knees: Halloween 2008
http://randomskinnedknees.blogspot.com/2008/11/halloween-2008.html
Prattlings from Skinned Knees. Friday, November 7, 2008. Another Halloween and I have to say I really enjoyed myself. It is Jason's favorite holiday and he always wants to go all out and I must say I am a little scared by this and in normal fashion not totally into something someone else is totally obsessively into, but this year I did make steps towards embracing Jason's enthusiasm for the Halloween holiday. I want to thank our friend Ray for his advice on going to the website vampfans.com. As I turned ...

Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Restaurant Review - Carpaccio in Annapolis, MD. The interior of the restaurant is sophisticated with high-end decorations, an open view of the kitchen, and a large and fully stocked bar and yet the restaurant also has a comfortable feel to it. This is one of those rare places where upon entering you know that you can both feel at home here and know that you're getting a quality, high-end meal that you couldn't ever get at home. Topped with shaved parmesan cheese). For dessert, I ...

By The Forkful: Komi - Washington, DC
http://bytheforkful.blogspot.com/2013/05/komi-washington-dc.html
Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Komi - Washington, DC. Sitting down to write this restaurant review was daunting. To begin with,. There is no menu that I can use to give you the names of each course we tasted. Secondly, Komi. Doesn't allow photography in their restaurant so I have no pictures of the food to show you. Thirdly, what could I possibly say that hasn't already been said about this hugely popular restaurant? What I can tell you is, it is completely worth the money and completely worth the hype.
