Stephen, Sheri-Lee, Benjamen, Emeth: February 2015
http://ssbekry.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Stephen, Sheri-Lee, Benjamen, Emeth. The Adventures and Misadventures. Monday, February 2, 2015. I'm only 2 months behind after this. I don't like being behind because I'd prefer to blog more often and talk about things that are funny / interesting over the period of the current week or something. Now most of my blogging is, really, just recapping based on memories from photos. My version will be skewed. Here, I'm taking some pics of the boys playing 'street hockey'. I kind of like the camaraderie. Proba...

Stephen, Sheri-Lee, Benjamen, Emeth. The Adventures and Misadventures. Thursday, February 27, 2014. Ketchup Post #1 - Summer to Work Field Trip (i.e. Family Fun Day). And so. It's become clear that, approximately, I suck at blogging. I really have only one person to blame: Netflix. Not really, but, partially. In fact, I'm watching re-runs right now. *sigh*. This is not my proudest moment. Anyway, for those who are interested, here's a bit of a rundown of the last 6 months or so. I'm going with Mary Poppi...

Stephen, Sheri-Lee, Benjamen, Emeth: April 2015
http://ssbekry.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Stephen, Sheri-Lee, Benjamen, Emeth. The Adventures and Misadventures. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. March of the Haiku 2015 - #26-31. Well, that ends another season of haikubiage. I think that haiku writing is challenging still. I'll probably do more this year. One of my thoughts was to write at least 15 each month (in 2015). (Get it? Anyway, the next ones will either be: all black and white pictures, OR, attempts at humor. We shall see. And thanks for reading. We share splashes of. The blades of grass map.

Stephen, Sheri-Lee, Benjamen, Emeth. The Adventures and Misadventures. Tuesday, May 5, 2015. 15 Haiku in April 2015 - #10-15. Well, dear friends, you've journeyed with me once again. And I thank you. It should be noted that I plan to do this in May. *sigh*. Any suggestions, or topics, would be appreciated. I've got a few that can be placeholders until you give me something great :P. Random Offerings: Tulips
http://randomoffering.blogspot.com/2015/04/tulips.html
Sunday, April 12, 2015. On Friday, I took the day off to take advantage of the weather, for a drive to see the tulip festival a couple of hours east of the city. Along the way, we stopped at a heritage village, built on the edge of the Fraser River. To avoid floods, the main buildings and houses were built on stilts. The general store also was at the height of the railway running past it, making it easy to bring in supplies. Great little log cabin! The corners were built with dovetail joints. From there,...

Random Offerings: September 2013
http://randomoffering.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 29, 2013. As one of the dancers was leaving, she stopped and chatted with us for a bit, giving us some information about the shows, and it made it that much more interesting! Entrance to the Royal Suite. View from the big windows. Control room in the basement. Old boilers - HUGE! Some drawings from years past, piled up in the basement. This pixelated Orca at the Convention Centre represents the ocean and the high-tech industry in Vancouver. Monday, September 2, 2013. We've had a pretty ...

Random Offerings: May 2015
http://randomoffering.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 24, 2015. Time to do a catch-up post - here's what we've been up to in the past month. We went for a drive and sightseeing to White Rock, south of the city just this side of the U.S. border, stopping at a neat old farm-yard on the banks of the Fraser River. Sweet little place! I'll be turning 50 this December (I know! I don't look it! A wander around the University grounds is always interesting, looking at the new buildings (and there are always new ones! And enjoying the grounds and artwork.

Random Offerings: August 2014
http://randomoffering.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 24, 2014. Sooo, there's this barge, right? There's a barge anchored in one of the coves along the shore - it's got what looks from afar like a ramshackle pile of lumber crudely slapped together. On the pathway overlooking the cove is a sign, inviting you to take a ferry over for a visit. This I then did! Turns out it's an art work, meant to symbolize some of the features of the port and industrialized coast, and is made of salvaged materials. Some bits show signs of having been in a fire!
