http://spudrunning.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 31, 2004. Nice morning for it too. Still on holidays at the moment so it's nice to be able to stay in bed a little longer this week. I will write up a year in review post later. Happy New Year all! Posted by Spud @ 4:14 PM. Thursday, December 30, 2004. Took the bike out this morning for a hilly 80km ride. Looks like a trip to the bike shop is required. Checked the post box to find the new "glossy" UltraMag waiting for me, made for a nice breakfast read. Posted by Spud @ 1:35 PM. Sunday, ...

Spud's Blog: June 2005
http://spudrunning.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 30, 2005. Wet and windy tempo. 12:10pm- 8.06km (4:35/km). Was gonna go for a swim at lunchtime but decided a run in the rain would be more fun (turned out to be a bit of a swim anyhow). Ran to Riverview again and through the college there (not much off road running this week due to wet weather) and back to Lane Cove. Rained hard the whole time with a wicked gusty wind blowing, all making the run that much more exhilerating. Posted by Spud @ 1:45 PM. Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Ran from the o...

Spud's Blog: February 2005
http://spudrunning.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 28, 2005. Sunday- Opted to lie in this morning and give the STaR a miss. Got up at 7am with my 3 young girls bouncing on the bed. Wow 8.5 hrs sleep! Decided to hit the local roads for 20km. Donned the camelbak as my waistbelt bottle holder just isn't hacking these days. An undulating course, even more so over the second half. Ran the first 10km in 4:55/km pace and the second 10km in 4:45/km pace. So averaged 4:50/km for the 20km. Posted by Spud @ 8:14 AM. Saturday, February 26, 2005.

aint no thang: January 2007
http://undercuvabrother.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 28, 2007. I have to admit its been a pretty mild summer in brissie. Mostly tops in the high 20s with low humidity. This week however had been mostly low 30s with high (60% ) humidity. There certainly seems to be a critical level at which i struggle and this is indeed it. My thursday run was in 31 degree heat and 60% humidity. Weatherzone works this out to be an apparent/'feels like' temp of 36. The tuesday bush run wasnt quite as humid but was certainly more a walk-run than a run-walk.

Monday, September 11, 2006. I gotta get off this boat . NOW! Well i have to admit to being not a great mariner. Not sure why i agreed to spend 2 weeks up in the whitsundays on a boat. Think it was a case of being completely focused on glasshouse and nothing else! The 1st 2 days were fantastic - what i'd hoped for - light winds, calm ocean, picture-perfect scenery, someone else driving the boat. Unfortunately not so good on day 3. Yunno like one of those claustrophobic people in an overcrowded lift. Food ...

Sunday, June 25, 2006. Its been a big week for a little boy. Big week this week - little running but heaps of (way too) much other stuff. Spent the whole week talking to the council, lawyers, insurance people and real estate agents. Mainly due to the recent property purchase but also in a pre-end of financial year spending/paying bills spree. Also bought 2 new pairs of running shoes :). Are they a tax deduction? Thursday - 30min easy exercise bike. Sunday - 30min ex bike. A bit of a funny training week.
