Registered charity number 1000467. The Huddersfield Youth Brass Ensemble Association (HYBEA) was formed as an independent charity in 1990. The Huddersfield Youth Brass Ensemble however, has been in existence since 1962 representing the Youth Brass players of Huddersfield all over Europe, Scandinavia and North America on its regular educational tours. Huddersfield Brass is run almost entirely by volunteers and a committee of parents and musicians.
