Slow down you crazy child →. You’re such a Wiener. June 10, 2012. Yesterday we visited part of the Kunsthistorisches Museum, which is housed in the city residence of the Habsburg family. The building itself is beautiful, and the musical instrument collection is outstanding. There were several instruments with about six rows of maybe 2-inch deep keys. You’re such a Wiener. Give us today our daily →. Slow down you crazy child. June 12, 2012. Our time in Vienna has come to a close. We saw an opera. We rubbed elbows with the Habsburgs. We rode a giant ferris wheel. This really is a great city. Today we head to Nürnberg for a bit more history. Here we will say goodbye to the Tegtmeiers. We have had a great time traveling with them and wish them well on the rest of their trip. Tomorrow they will head for Paris and we will head toward Frankfurt.

July 6, 2012. Lately, Valerie and I have been getting into making more of our own food from scratch. I’ve been making more bread, we’ve gotten more adventurous with our cooking, and this year we’ve been getting a box of vegetables each week from a local Community Supported Agriculture farm (CSA). Yes A Yogotherm. Essentially it’s a plastic container lined with styrofoam which holds a plastic container with your yogurt in it. Then remove the pan from the heat and allow the milk to cool to 115 degrees.
