The Fowers: July 2008
http://fowersintexas.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 22, 2008. I go back and forth between reading and crafting with my down time. The best crafts are fairly uncomplicated, hard to mess up, and look cute no matter how un-creative I am. I ran into a project the other day (thanks, Stephanie! That looked adorable and seemed pretty easy, so I dove into the realm of children's clothing. Not too painful, actually! Here's a link if you want to make your own:. Http:/ spenceandkath.blogspot.com/2008/04/more-twirly-skirtsand-shirts.html. A few lessons ...

The Fowers: What are we doing?
http://fowersintexas.blogspot.com/2010/07/what-are-we-doing.html
Saturday, July 31, 2010. What are we doing? I know. a year away from blogging. Don't think I have any grandiose plans to keep this up - I just thought I'd do a little update. Here's a picture of our family today:. This was at a little kid's triathlon we did in our neighborhood today. Here are a couple of action shots:. We are having the best summer ever. Why? I feel fall encroaching faster than I would like and I want to hold on to every day as tightly as I can and not let go. Posted by The Fowers. Jedd:...

The Fowers: October 2008
http://fowersintexas.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2008. I suppose Hay Fever really exists? Not worth it for the 30 dirty lollypops that they each discovered. Madeline made quick work of the situation by opening them up one by one, giving them a few sucks, then laying them on the nearest unsuspecting surface while I was blinded by uncontrollable sneezing and watering eyes. After recovering, I found a rainbow of lollypops all over the house. Posted by The Fowers. Monday, October 27, 2008. Can't forget about Madeline! I think she has ...

The Fowers: Dolphin cruising
http://fowersintexas.blogspot.com/2009/07/dolphin-cruising.html
Saturday, July 25, 2009. We went out on a "Dolphin Cruise" in the bay mostly for something fun for the kids - but we were surprisingly entertained too. Feeding the seagulls was really cool - hundreds of them were swooping down and they would eat right out of our hands. We did see lots of dolphins up close - and it was way cooler than we thought it would be! The kids got to drive the boat for a couple minutes, which turned this boat ride into the FAVORITE part of the trip for Jackson. Posted by The Fowers.

The Fowers: August 2008
http://fowersintexas.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Posted by The Fowers. For playgroup this week we took a tour at the Love Field Frontiers of Flight museum. I use "tour" rather loosely with the attention span of this group. The tour guides were retired pilots and tried really hard to be interesting, but the kids were MUCH more excited about the real airplane seats than in hearing their WWII stories. Poor guys! The sprinkles cupcakes on the way home were not bad either. Posted by The Fowers. Posted by The Fowers. I found some fa...

Cooks: April 2009
http://cookfam02.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Apr 6, 2009. NR #1 thinks he is pretty smart and can slip stuff by us. He also says some things that make us laugh. Below are a couple examples:. He is potty trained except for night time, but recently, he has had a couple accidents at nap time. We told him today that if he kept his bed/clothes dry he could have M&M's. JR set the bar at 3 M&M's to which NR #1 replied, 4! To this he replied: No, I can't hear you. Speak up, Mommy! I love this little boy! How much cuter can you get. Texas, United States.

Cooks: The Trip to & from Agra
http://cookfam02.blogspot.com/2011/03/trip-to-from-agra.html
Mar 4, 2011. The Trip to and from Agra. We travelled the long journey to Agra, India from Bangalore to visit the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Let me just say it was quite the weekend! There were a total of seven adults in a car the size of a small American minivan, so it was a tight squeeze (mostly for those in the back row)! It took us 7.5 hours to get those 150 miles with an hour or so for lunch. That had to be the longest day of my life! When is the last time you use this pull tab to open a soda can?

Apr 18, 2008. Busy, Busy, Busy. We have been pretty busy this past month or so. We have done things around the house, visited my family for Easter, had some friends over, had some family come visit, and just trying to keep up with everyday life. How cute and smart is that? That is a little bit of what we have been up to lately. I love this time of year.I feel so much more productive because of how beautiful it can be outside. Well, off to grocery shop and do some cleaning! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
