Fuzzy and Her Six Kittens. October 6, 2014. Pat and Becky were aware of a pregnant cat coming to one of the feeders. They knew it would be very hard on her to have kittens in the open and cool Fall weather. Luckily, she was friendly to volunteers so Pat and Becky trapped her and took her to the vet for care. A few days later she delivered three healthy kittens. The family is currently with a foster provider until adoptions can be made. All are doing well! Fuzzy - Mother of the Year. October 6, 2014.

Usker Cats is an independent group of faculty, staff and student volunteers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln working to ensure a high quality life for cats living in feral colonies on campus. Administer a cooperative plan supported by UNL’s administration and the campus community. Implement a program to stabilize the feral cat population through a neuter/spay and release program. Bring each campus colony to a healthy yet, non-reproductive status within five years of the program’s inception.
