Rome – Ian's European Experience – Part 3

https://ianineurope.wordpress.com/2014/01/16/rome-2

Ian's European Experience – Part 3. Follow me as I trip around Europe, again. It’s our last day in Italy. We are in Rome and are flying out this evening. We organised a late checkout from our hotel which has given us the opportunity to go out and do some sightseeing in the morning and then have somewhere to come back and get ready for our flight. We went for a bit of a walk to a couple of the sights of Rome, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain. Looking down at the Spanish Steps. January 16, 2014.

Capri – Ian's European Experience – Part 3

https://ianineurope.wordpress.com/2014/01/15/capri

Ian's European Experience – Part 3. Follow me as I trip around Europe, again. Via Giuseppi Orlandi, the main street in Anacapri. We visited Villa San Michele in Anacapri. It was built around the beginning of the 20th century by Axel Munthe, a Swedish doctor and author. It has stunning views over Capri Town and the Marina Grande, and also across the bay of Naples towards Sorrento and Naples. Part of the Villa. The view to Marina Grande. And then straight down. Looking down at the coastline. And a bit more...

Venice – Ian's European Experience – Part 3

https://ianineurope.wordpress.com/2014/01/10/venice

Ian's European Experience – Part 3. Follow me as I trip around Europe, again. Venice is awesome. I love it. I loved it last time I was here, and I loved it this time. There is just something about it that works for me. I think it is the kind of place that you either love or hate. Many people talk about getting lost in Venice, but you can’t really get lost, you just keep walking until you find what you are looking for. The bell tower in Pisa is not the only leaning tower in Italy. We climbed up St Marks B...

Burano – Ian's European Experience – Part 3

https://ianineurope.wordpress.com/2014/01/11/burano

Ian's European Experience – Part 3. Follow me as I trip around Europe, again. The beginning of this post could almost be a repeat of my last post on Venice. I visited Burano 3 and a half years ago. And loved it, so going back again this time and spending more time there has just confirmed how great Burano is. It is definitely on the list for another visit in the future. To see more of the food, but before you do, here is a video of Megan’s lunch being served up. Here are some photos from our day in Burano.

Positano – Ian's European Experience – Part 3

https://ianineurope.wordpress.com/2014/01/11/positano

Ian's European Experience – Part 3. Follow me as I trip around Europe, again. The view from our room. What we didn’t realise was that the “street” our hotel was on was actually a whole lot of stairs… about 70 in total. Our hotel is the red building, and the road is at the bottom of the photo, where you may be able to make out a white van. Here are just some of the steps up to the hotel. Not our street, but another one just down the road. The church of Santa Maria Assunta, plus the bell tower, and inside.

Thoughts of a Random Nature: January 2010

http://ecstaticfanatic.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Thoughts of a Random Nature. Wednesday, January 20, 2010. That came with my Core 2 Duo E6400. I ended up with a Scythe Kabuto. From PC Case Gear. The first thing I noticed about the Kabuto was the size of it. Compared to the Intel cooler, it was huge! Here are some photos that show the difference in the size of the coolers and the space taken inside the case. It was a tight squeeze, but I just managed to get the PSU back into the case. Here is an artsy shot, just to show off the heat pipe design :-).

Just before Christmas, the guys from mx5cartalk.com. Organised to do a drive through Wisemans Ferry. It was on the weekend before Christmas, and we had about 15 cars show up (including a Nissan Skyline). The route was as follows:. Start at Rofe Park in Hornsby Heights. Proceed through the Gorge, veer left at the top as you come out of the Gorge.

Thoughts of a Random Nature. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Changes and a move are coming for TORN. I started this blog back in October 2008, not really knowing what I was doing, or what I was going to do with it. Since then I have occasionally posted some random bits and pieces that I thought I would share with the world. or at least the 2 or 3 people who actually read this blog. I started out here at Blogger. Just to see how it went. Recently, I started another blog, Photo Taking Daze.

Thoughts of a Random Nature. Saturday, May 30, 2009. I found the following t-shirt on a website called Final Gear. They are my source of news for all things Top Gear and Fifth Gear. Recently they ran a competition to design a t-shirt, and below is one of the designs that was successful. I decided to get this t-shirt to go with my I AM THE STIG. T-shirt. Can anyone translate the Morse code? Don't worry, I already know what it says ;-). Links to this post. Thursday, May 28, 2009. In a previous post. Ie no ...

Thoughts of a Random Nature. Wednesday, November 19, 2008. The other weekend I went out and bought some new computer bits. I built up a new system but also got some new speakers and a new monitor for my existing computer. I got all the bits from. At North Rocks. I find that IT Estate is easy to get to and have good prices. I'm very impressed with my new speakers. They are. The image quality is amazing. The screen is surrounded in a shiney black case, which looks sweeeet! Links to this post.

September 5th, 2013.

Ian's European Experience – Part 3 – Follow me as I trip around Europe, again

Ian's European Experience – Part 3. Follow me as I trip around Europe, again. On our last trip, we saw Provence during the winter time. Very little was open and most villages were like a ghost town. So we wanted to come back and see it during summer. One of the things we really wanted to see where fields of sun flowers. We saw some! We stopped in Céreste to visit Scaramouche Artisan Glacier. An ice cream shop) which was closed in winter when we were last in the area. Hmmm… Ice Cream. 8230; and a door.
