All Intangibles: May 2009
http://allintangibles.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Well, Weezer decided to cover it and mix it with Lady Gaga's Poker Face. It's pretty kickass. Is it just me or does the audience seem like the exact opposite of a sausagefest. Young adult females love them a bowlful of Weezer in the evening hours. Posted by Allen Chu. Monday, May 18, 2009. The Forest Queen Isn't Very Tall. Here's a recent video from Leno. Posted by Allen Chu. Saturday, May 9, 2009. Believe it or not, it's ridiculously simple. It was un-nerving at times because ...

Jame's Blog: Moose Goes to the Beach
http://jamesplayer.blogspot.com/2009/11/moose-goes-to-beach.html
Moose Goes to the Beach. Some friends had described a beach near Halfmoon Bay. To Andrea a while back. A beach where dogs can run off-leash (sort of a rare beach to find). So we set out on Saturday to get Moose his first experience with the ocean. We even convinced our friend, Samara, to bring her dogs along as well. Sophie, the one with the black face, is an extremely enthusiastic digger. She always gets scolded when she tried it at the school, but this is the beach! Here are some final shots of when th...

There was quite a kitsch side to the numerous attempts at recreating a medieval atmosphere, though we ate some pretty good "medieval" food :). We went around town probably 10 times discovering new details, new old buildings, new viewpoints. It was fun and relaxing, only difficulty was which bar to stop next :). More pictures of Talinn here. Today we decided to go have lunch on the beach (5 minutes from work by foot). You can see part of the Haifa french connection on the picture. Water was warm, with a little bit of wind so there was a bunch of kite surfers having fun. We had a pretty good time :). Friday, March 25, 2005. Thursday, March 24, 2005. http://jamesplayer.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
I just passed the largest kidney stone I've ever seen. This bad boy's been bothering me going on 3 months now. But with work being complete insanity, I haven't made time to go see a doctor about it. I guess things just worked themselves out. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Lives of Ian and Janel. Been a while . Bay Area Ramen rating update - 6/3/2011.

I drove up to SF to see the Dirtbombs. On Saturday at the Rickshaw Stop. This was probably the first concert I've seen for my self in about two years, and what a way to jump back into it. Mick (lead singer and guitarist. formerly of the Gories. And the gang sure know how to rock a room. I noticed a while back that they were playing at the Outside Land. Festival in Golden Gate Park. At the same time, the left drummer (yes, I said left drummer. the Dirtbombs have always had 2) jumped up from his seat a...

All Intangibles: How Fast Was Hood To Coast?
http://allintangibles.blogspot.com/2009/09/how-fast-was-hood-to-coast.html
Wednesday, September 16, 2009. How Fast Was Hood To Coast? Below is the breakdown in projected times and actual times for the Hood To Coast team that got duped into accepting me as a team member. Projected times are in black and are based on a personal 10k time. The actual times are in red. The team did pretty great. Everyone was actually really brought their shit for the run or everybody was just really horrible at projecting their 10k times. Posted by Allen Chu. The Lives of Ian and Janel. Been a while .

All Intangibles: Long Time Coming
http://allintangibles.blogspot.com/2009/12/long-time-coming.html
Monday, December 7, 2009. Haven't posted in a long time. This is mostly because of traveling(Central Alpine Lakes, Peru, Israel, etc) that I've been doing recently. On top of that, I'm a very proud owner of a home in NE Portland. I'll probably be doing some "backposting" eventually. I'm quasi-settled into my new place and am getting back into the swing of a normal routine now. Posted by Allen Chu. The Lives of Ian and Janel. Been a while . Jason and Lynn's Web Page. 160; Travels, photos, middle-east politics, high tech industry, cooking, extreme sports, mmorpgs and more. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Burma style pork stew. One new recipe just to try to not forget, I made it up with what was available and turned out delicious:. 2 pounds of pork butt (shoulder) sliced in 1' cubes. 1 large onion cut in 1/4' chunks. 1 red bell pepper cut in 1/4' chunks. 5 Serrano chillies (might want to go to 3 for the sensitive palates). 2 pieces of ginger 1' each. 3 cups of water.
