Stroke Association Resolution Run. March 8, 2015. I ran the 10k today in Glasgow in memory of my Papa John. I’ve run once in the past 8 weeks so obviously I just wanted to get round alive. My dad drove me today which was a nice surprise and he provided some moral support at various points along the course. (It was 2 laps around the green). It wasn’t particularly busy and in true Scottish style, we went through pretty much the full spectrum of weather. Circuit training on Wednesday. Run on Friday evening.

I’m not dead! August 9, 2015. It’s been a long time since I blogged (eep) and a lot but also not a lot has happened. Great Women’s 10k was completed with my mum. She got pretty tired and thus our A and B goals went out the window but we finished and made the C goal of “quicker than last year”. We also did the Oakley Mini 10k in New York in June. Good days and bad days. April 12, 2015. Here’s an update since I’ve not posted in ages. I ran the Resolution Run 10k on the 8th of March, was in Liverpool the weekend after, was in London 2 weekends after that, unwell and in bed over the Easter weekend (last weekend) and incredibly busy at uni which leaves me mentally and physically drained by the time I get home every day. A little more action…. May 5, 2015. I’m getting better at getting out the door. Yay! I signed up for the great Scottish run earlier last week too. My training plan for the avengers half marathon weekend calls for 11 miles that day anyway so I figured I’d do the half marathon and get a medal anyway. I’m disheartened with my running and my apparent gaining weight despite making better choices with my food. Then I ate a big salad. 5k on Sunday so we’ll see how that goes for me.
