Thursday, January 08, 2009. Do I need to say more? It was great to have my siblings back for Christmas. Our house was on high - high amount of laughter, high level of patience (to use toilet) etc and high level of tolerance for bro's surprise acts! Posted by Poh Sim. Xmas party @ the Lees. Our host for this year Xmas party, thanks to Lan who initiate, organise and cook! We still managed to party even though our usual host cum cook, Bee, is away. Sunday, July 15, 2007. Mango Frappucino - my favourite drink from Starbucks! I got a treat from a colleague for my birthday. Sometimes I will treat myself one when I'm feeling blues. a sip will certainly chase them away. How I wish I can have it regularly but the price does not permit! My new hair cut in 2007! This year I had to silent my mobile phone because it was flooded with sms wishes. And that didnt stop my colleagues who called and sang "Happy Birthday" over the phone - so thoughtful of them.

Friday, February 08, 2008. Sg Chilling on Thaipusam. I finally remember this waterfall after making my 3rd visit. The 1st trip was made many years ago and back then there weren't bridge and signboards. This trip was made possible when the govt declared Thaipusam as public holiday in KL. I happily 'tumpang' my friends who planned the trip for his bunch of colleagues. New bridge - located at the start of the trail. We crossed the same river 6 or 7 times to reach the waterfall. Friday, February 26, 2010. My 2nd trip to Langkawi for HPC away day, 1st trip was 8 years ago with my ex-co. Stayed at Westin Hotel, loved the breakfast spread. Too bad we didn't have much time to enjoy the hotel facilities or explore the island. At the cable car 1st viewing station, 652.5m above sea level. Sunday, October 21, 2007. I headed to Fraser's Hill during the Raya break and found the traffic surprisingly smooth. KKB dam - the view is simply enchanting. One can see the reflection of the sky on the stilled water. Jeriau waterfall at Fraser's. It was so sad to find the water polluted ie teh tarik colour. Sunday, May 25, 2008. I went to Penang over the long weekend. I had only one agenda in mind prior to trip - to have my share of assam laksa, rojak (fruits) and ice kacang. But I got more - tasted some authentic Penang food and discovered the scenic side of Penang. It was a fulfilling trip - definitely for my stomach. Meromictic lake - contain layers of water that do not mix. Opposite the Meromictic Lake is the sea, separated by the beach. Sunset at Pantai Kerachut. I like this B I G tree, quite rare in KL.

Saturday, January 12, 2008. Above are my collection of Christmas gifts from Ming, all handmade by her. Loved them! Posted by Poh Sim. One word to describe the above feast - satisfying. There were turkey, JD lamb, seafood pasta and salad. For desserts, we'd fruit tarts and apple cake. All were baked and cooked by Bee (plus Darren) and Lan while others contributed their stomach.
