Dec 27, 2008. My Last Day in India. As I took my last scooter drive into town I couldn't help but take a little extra time to enjoy the sights, sounds and energy. I must admit for someone who has never been interested in motorbikes it is truly wonderful to ride with the wide open space all around you, the looming grace of Mt. Arunachala. The wind in my hair and the new found space within. All-in-all quite an intoxicating experience. So is the Leonie that arrived in India the same one that is leaving?

Oct 26, 2008. Life in India - Some Observations. To try and give you a feel for India I am going to share some of my first observations of life here. Unlike other countries I've visited the horn in India is a musical instrument and can be heard participating in a symphony at any time of the day or night. To accept the sounds you need to surrender to the music and from there life flows. What was I thinking or as the case maybe 'not thinking'. I can't help but chuckle at myself. Nov 7, 2008. It's been a Month in India. As for my trip, it was a month yesterday that I arrived in India, I can't believe all the new and interesting experiences I've been exposed to in that time. I've been on the bus, the overnight train - twice (that's a story or two of another blog entry), taxis, touk. Rickshaws, a horse (or nag) drawn cart and the list goes on and on. Without losing my connection with the present, I can't help but wonder at what the next two months will reveal. Live Love. Laugh.
