Went snowboarding last weekend to make some use of the massive snowfall we got. usually we go to canada to ride, but we haven't had much time to make the trip, so we went someplace local, which is usually tougher because our powder blows off, melts and then freezes into ice patches, is scraped off by all those who crowd every ride-able mountain we have. still, I did well. I'm completely inefficient and look absolutely like I'm drowning while I do it, but at least I learned it. Cast Iron Skillet - Chant of Waves. I'm insomniacing, so. It also requires more upkeep. I scrape and rinse it while it is still hot from cooking, and then lightly oil the pan. This is part of a lifelong process for caring for cast-iron cookware, whose mysteries I am inducting myself into, and it's a bit more work before eating (although not more work total. Cast iron takes less time to clean than my enamel, so I'm actually saving work, just putting it all up-front before I can nom). With all that said.
