Monday, January 24, 2011. I just heard from a tile artist, carol francis, i met with her artist husband michael a couple years ago at hd expo. An interior design show for the hospitality market in las vegas and am thrilled to post this update after first sharing their talents with you back then. first of all, the fact that this is a husband and wife team of artists who started their pottery studio in a thatched cottage in 1980, is just so romantic! In santa monica, i presented the essentials to creating a gracious entry, whether you have a tiny bit of space for a shelf, a chair that doubles as a table, or more room for a console. before i share a summary of that presentation in a separate post, i'd like to share with you some of my inspiration, this batch of which comes from the encore. Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Check out photojournalist peter bennett's new blog. Citizen of the planet. he takes us through a journey of what he sees around him in los angeles and promises to entertain while educating us. his images are stunning and remind me of the beauty around me as well as my place in this natural world. thanks peter! Peter documented the junk raft. That navigated from long beach to hawaii which took 10 weeks plus making the boat out of 15,000 plastic bottles and an airplane fuselage.
