One point I try to make repeatedly throughout this site is that it is very expensive to market products on TV. These high costs have to be passed on to the people who purchase those products. As consumers I feel we should always look for alternative, less advertised products that offer people a better value.

Just My Humble Opinion. The Orbirek is known as an "elipical trainer". The actual machine pretty much lives up to everything stated about it on the informercial. Working out with the Orbitrek is still hard work. Unfortunately the Orbitrek and machines like it are incredibly boring. A half an hour on the machine will be the longest half an hour of your life!

Just My Humble Opinion! For more than 10 years the Total Gym has been selling through an infomercial featuring Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkly. Total gym products have been sold successfully because they are legitimate exercise machines. Used by more than 7000 hospitals, rehab clinics, and fitness centers world wide, the Total Gym is one of the few infomercial products I can say is worth the money. Other generic products can be found by doing a Google search for "Total Gym".
