Repainting the Elvis Rock. Knitting for the Babies of Hiroshima. Sherlock Holmes: The Missing Muses. Sherlock Holmes: The Missing Muses. It seemed most clear to me that the entire Holmes clan was afflicted with the most terrible mental delusions. It had long been a source of intrigue to me that my friend, Mr Sherlock Holmes, rarely mentioned his family, so it was with considerable interest I listened when he began to discuss his sister. I am several years her senior, and had not seen her for many years u...

Repainting the Elvis Rock. Knitting for the Babies of Hiroshima. Sherlock Holmes: The Missing Muses. Scintilla Day 01] Who are you? 8217; should probably be another, but it’s a little late for that now, isn’t it? And most of my stories involve other people, too. This post is a response to prompts from The Scintilla Project. Really ...

Repainting the Elvis Rock. Knitting for the Babies of Hiroshima. Sherlock Holmes: The Missing Muses. Repainting the Elvis Rock. The Elvis Rock is a local landmark, a huge rock at the side of the A44 with the word, ‘ELVIS’, painted on it. There are lots of stories about who originally created it (and you can read some of them here. But little knowledge about who it was who might have maintained it for all these years. Some years ago, I was in the Angel in Aberystwyth. Read it here…. Enter your comment here.

Repainting the Elvis Rock. Knitting for the Babies of Hiroshima. Sherlock Holmes: The Missing Muses. Repainting the Elvis Rock. Midnight, and the road is clear. Black ice in the hollows and a rabbit. Lying mangled in the headlights,. Blood oozing black, fur no doubt still warm,. Blank eyes raised to the heavens;. Orion the hunter watches. Mindful of the meaning. The Norton hums beneath me. Ink and Skin – Word Made Flesh
Welcome to Ink and Skin: Word Made Flesh. Everyone has a story. Sometimes it’s hard to share that story, and even then, it can be difficult for others to hear your story. There is a great deal of competition for our ever-shortening attention spans. I’m fascinated by stories. I like to hear them, especially deeper stories that are close to the heart. Talking about the weather, sports, or the latest TV shows takes the place of sharing our stories – and yet we long to be heard. In His book,. February 7, 2015.
