Friday, May 20, 2005. The Problem with Singaporeans. Have you ever wondered why people like to congregate in the masses, in front of the MRT door? Why do they do that despite announcements over the PA system, to keep clear of the doors and allow passengers to alight first? My conclusion is that people are stupid. Yes, it is true. Kiasuism. Has become so much a part of our lives that we can't even allow people to alight the train first. Yes, we are far from being a gracious society. Enjoy your stay here.
