Wednesday, September 23, 2009. All In A Day's Work. After some extensive research today on how to get rid of fruit flies, I determined the most effective trap is a cup of apple cider vinegar inside a plastic bag poked with holes in the top. I have already caught 10 or 15 in the last hour. Check out the picture. All in a day's work. Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Buon appetito piato pulito! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, February 14, 2010. On Tuesday night, Ian Finlay surprised me by flying to Utah and asked me to marry him! After getting over the shock of seeing him I said yes! So we are now officially engaged to be married on May 29th in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are excited to end this long distance relationship and start a new life together. For those who would like to read the entire, long story keep reading. If not, just keep scrolling down to see the rest of the pictures of the night. Boring comment, I know.

Annie's Anecdotes: August 2009
http://annieandersonblog.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 10, 2009. I've joined the club. I have always found it annoying when people talk for long amounts of time about how cute their nieces and nephews are. Like other kids aren't just as cute, fun, and smart? You know when someone reaches for the pictures in their wallet that you're in for the long haul. However, today I am joining the club to brag about my cute niece! Amidst the moving, we did find time to go to Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington. Here it is in all it's glory. Missing...

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Rocky Mountain High, Colorado". One thing that is as great as John Denver is the Colorado Rocky Mountains he sang about. For Memorial Day I met the rest of the family in Vail, Colorado. These are pictures of the annual bike trip from the top of Vail to Avon (a neighboring city). Our bike ride always ends at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory- my favorite part! With school out in 3 days, the traveling bug has got me. Stay tuned for the summer adventures! http://annieandersonblog.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 9, 2009. My life has not been as boring as no blog posts for the past few months may suggest. Excuse the many pictures, but here are the highlights from the last month or two. On September 6th another niece was born! Caroline Jane Linton is pictured here. What a doll! My dad came out to Utah for conference weekend and we celebrated our birthdays together! Pictured here are some runner friends that came to run and volunteer at the race. This is the tent city. This is proof of the snow.

Annie's Anecdotes: February 2009
http://annieandersonblog.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Sunday, February 8, 2009. This past weekend the snow was too inviting to sit at home. It was time for a snowshoeing trip! Destination: The Abajo Mountains in Monticello, Utah. Driving down to Monticello, we stopped by Wilson's Arch. Dustin, Marianne, and I are pictured here. The mountains were so serene and beautiful! As there is no road leading to the cabin, we got a little lost. This picture is in front of the cabin after arriving about 9:00 at night. What a great trip!

http://annieandersonblog.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 19, 2009. I met up with my friend Jessie this past weekend in Cedar City, Utah for the last day of the Shakespeare festival. While watching A Comedy of Errors we enjoyed eating raspberry tarts. Tarts are sold at the Shakespeare festival like hot dogs are sold at a baseball game. Yumm! The next day we headed down to St. George to see two plays at the Tuacahn theatre- Annie and Footloose. We are pictured with the actor who played Annie. Two Annies in one place doesn't happen very often! O worl...

Annie's Anecdotes: The Foods of San Francisco
http://annieandersonblog.blogspot.com/2009/12/foods-of-san-francisco.html
Wednesday, December 16, 2009. The Foods of San Francisco. In my opinion, cities are best judged by their cuisine. In planning a trip to the golden gate city, it was necessary to try all of its varied cuisine. After sampling San Francisco's food this last weekend, I would say it is a pretty "sweet" place to visit! This post will highlight the best tastes of San Francisco! San Francisco is known for its sourdough bread. Check out the bread animals at this sourdough bread factory! I love SF. Good food, ...
