Eurasian watermilfoil
http://invasives.barryboeshans.com/what.html
What is the history? What does it do? It forms a floating canopy in the lake that can block out the native plants sunlight, which in turn changes the ecosystem and eventually kills off the native plants, which could also harm the native fish. Its so harmful because underwater the plant gets thick and tangled with stems. What makes it invasive? What does it look like? The sources: Work Cited.

How do I prevent it from spreading? Something we all can do is remove all of the vegetation from your watercraft and trailer before you enter in a new body of water. Another great way of preventing Eurasian watermilfoil from spreading is becoming familiar with what it looks like by look at the Photo Gallery. What do I do once the lake is infected? Who do I contact for more information and other resources? Eurasian watermilfoil Program Coordinator. 500 Lafayette Rd, Box 25. St Paul, MN 55155-4025.

Invasive Ricochet
Effects of non-native plants in the Bay Area. Invasive Ricochet explores how invasive plant species affect Bay Area ecosystems. Focusing on a select number of case studies, I have created narratives of the struggle between native plants and the invasive plants that are displacing them. Invasive Ricochet was completed during the summer of 2015, as a Gray Area Creative Code Fellow, and was supported by Gray Area.

This is the homepage for the Invasive Species Research Coordination Network- we are currently updating our site and tools (Oct 2010). This NSF funded project explores biological invasions using museum specimen databases while combining geographic distributions with associated historical information and genetic data. Terrestrial arthropods are the focal group because of their impact in a variety of habitats, including natural, urban, and agricultural settings.
