Thursday, December 6, 2007. The Evil of Greed. Shit I made a grave mistake of falling to my greed, without doing proper research. Stupid Stupid Stupid. Koh Bros bought at $0.48. Should have monitored the counter a little more before jumping in. Lesson #1: Be Patient. 2 Stocks for Today - Lian Beng and KTL Global. These 2 stocks seems to be in the news alot these past few days. Up by 0.055 today to $0.760. News seems to be strong and credible. This is going to be my very first buy in the SGX open market!

LIAN Beng Group (LBG) announced on Wednesday a second strategic partnership with LaSalle Investment Management to jointly purchase and redevelop a freehold luxury residential site at Emerald Hill Road in the prestigious District 9, next to Orchard Road. The 29,811 sq ft site was purchased for $148 million, which translates into $1,880 per square foot (psf) per plot ratio with a gross floor area of 78,689 sq ft.

Monday, January 7, 2008. I think the main lesson from Mr Market today is to be disciplined. At the start of my trading activities I have told myself to take profits when holdings hit 20% profit. But I didnt do that today. When a stock is going up, the only way to move is down. Given my lack of financial knowledge at this current moment, I should be happy with whatever profits made. There is no limit to what I can earn. KTL Global has proved to be a good buy. Saw profits within a week. 20% rule!
