To Haiti for His purpose! Wednesday, 27 June 2012. Just three days before I flew to Melbourne, Wilson asked me to be his lifelong friend and partner in life . I said YES! For those who haven't heard, Wilson and I are now ENGAGED! It's been two weeks now since we've been oceans apart and I miss him dearly! For now, this blog post will have to suffice for our engagement celebration. Apart from getting engaged, a lot has happened in those 2 weeks! I know you're asking the question. When is the wedding?

To Haiti for His purpose! Wednesday, 24 October 2012. Today one of my 3rd Graders from last year said to me, "When are you going to update your blog? For more thoughts on restoration see this old blog post. Without further delay here are the lyrics of a song in the making. In this land that is hurting. Subscribe t...

http://purposeinhaiti.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
To Haiti for His purpose! Thursday, 26 April 2012. This article was taken from this website. I'm currently listening to an audio book titled "Desiring God". After hearing the foreign words "Christian Hedonism", I googled it and found this article. Does seeking your own happiness sound self-centered? Aren't Christians supposed to seek God, not their own pleasure? To answer this question we need to understand a crucial truth about pleasure-seeking (hedonism):. We value most what we delight in most. Jesus t...

http://purposeinhaiti.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
To Haiti for His purpose! Thursday, 29 November 2012. Help me understand the depth of your love for me. Help me know how much I'm worth to you. People's attempts to love me, will always leave me feeling disappointed. You alone can meet the longing of my heart, to feel valued and cherished. Allow me to be still long enough, to dwell in your presence and comprehend just how much you love me. Thursday, 22 November 2012. Give a gift that will not be forgotten. But what’s an object worth anyway? I’m hop...

...to Haiti for His purpose!: September 2012
http://purposeinhaiti.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
To Haiti for His purpose! Friday, 21 September 2012. Today was a lot of fun! The 3rd Graders sat on the bleachers with their banners, cheering for the 10th Graders who came in at 2nd place. Here are some pics. Monday, 3 September 2012. It's so natural for us to compare. Sometimes we walk away feeling like "top dogs" and other times we walk away feeling a lot less than that; it just depends on who and what you're comparing yourself too. Why do we compare ourselves to others? God, our Creator, expects us t...

A Heart For Haitian Minds. Thursday, June 21, 2012. Coffee dates are refreshing to the soul. What am I doing to serve God? How am I actively furthering the Kingdom? Posted by Jill Rutz. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Summer Vacation in the States. Posted by Jill Rutz. Sunday, June 10, 2012. Haiti became my home this year...
