Illustrator and Communication Designer. This is a basic portrait done in pencil and coloured in in Photoshop (and yes, I was still using the legendary Photoshop 7). Photoshop is a powerful medium and a good way to add colour to a pencil sketch is to simply scan it and work it with various layers in Photoshop. With the latest CS versions the package has only increased in potency. The sketch is a reflection of my typical portrait work a few years back. It has a certain resemblance with my father.😉.
