http://www.eatingithaca.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 22, 2011. We're Going to the NY State Fair! Hello, Eating Ithaca followers! We've had an exciting couple of weeks and we've got so much to share with you in the weeks ahead, it's hard to know where to start. First let's just get this out of the way: finally, after a year of hiatus, we are going to be bringing back the Eating Ithaca podcast starting in October. We're very excited and also a little nervous about it all (do we even remember how to do this? Of course, we've been to other fairs...

90 days, 90 restaurants. A ravenous goodbye to Ithaca, New York. It is said that Ithaca has more restaurants per capita than any other city in the United States. In my four years here I have experienced the pleasure — as well as the pain — of having eaten at many of them. July 2, 2011 at 2:16 am. You have to be craving a week of good old home-cooked meals! So are you moving back to PA? I remember you said you had an interview in town. How did that go? August 13, 2011 at 12:23 am. June 14, 2012 at 5:07 am.

90 days, 90 restaurants. A ravenous goodbye to Ithaca, New York. Day forty-three: d.p. dough. July 16, 2011. The parking lot of D.P. Dough off Green Street seems to be a hot spot for unsavory loiterers. Fortunately for non-loiterers like me, with places to go, people to see, who thus feel out of place with the loitering gang, D.P. Dough’s specialty is delivery. Calzone delivery, to be precise. Sorry, Mr. or Mrs. Dough, but I don’t have. Price: Student-friendly ( $7). Website: D.P. Dough. July 14, 2011.

The World Tasters: Market Street Grill - West Chester, PA
http://world-tasting.blogspot.com/2012/02/market-street-grill-west-chester-pa.html
Monday, February 20, 2012. Market Street Grill - West Chester, PA. See his work above! The brunch menu at Market Street Grill included all the standard fare (pancakes, French toast, etc.), but it also contained some notable additions: an entire category of eggs benedict (i.e. "Bennys"), Philly classics (i.e. scrapple! For some reason, when I placed the order, I figured a side blueberry pancake might be nice. I expected a cute silver dollar, but I got this monster:. Tricia really liked the chipped beef in...

The World Tasters: Praline Pound Cake
http://world-tasting.blogspot.com/2011/07/praline-pound-cake.html
Sunday, July 24, 2011. I apologize for the lack of communication for the past months, but no worries, I am posting some recipes that you will love. For the recipe, I used a bundt pan but I'm sure you can substitute with a regular cake pan, just adjust the baking times. Make the cake first, then the praline sauce. Read on for the recipe! 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1 cup heavy cream. Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy.

chocolate raspberry bread pudding | eggs on sunday
https://eggsonsunday.wordpress.com/2013/02/06/chocolate-raspberry-bread-pudding-recipe
Seasonal recipes, photos and stories from an Ithaca food-lover. Chocolate raspberry bread pudding. February 6, 2013. Is it already February? Cinnamon, our Golden Buff hen, earlier this fall. Tossing in some frozen raspberries provides a nice tart-sweet bite to counter the richness of the pudding…and of course, it would make a lovely dessert for Valentine’s Day! For local readers, you can read more about my backyard chicken adventures in the Fall issue of Edible Finger Lakes magazine. 1 cup lowfat milk (I...
