Masters Journal V1.0: January 2007
http://810classroom.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Masters Journal V1.0. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. I have slightly revised my plan and sections. The vertical circulation now runs along the perimeter of the floor plates, allowing the consumer the oppertunity to experience the atrium/courtyard element throughout there travel. Also, to gain entry into the cubes, they must travel through the thick wall, creating a conflicting experience of being in an enclosed space. Monday, January 29, 2007. Sketches of sections and plan: detailed drawings to follow.

Masters Journal V1.0: Portfolio: Elevations
http://810classroom.blogspot.com/2007/10/portfolio-elevations.html
Masters Journal V1.0. Saturday, October 20, 2007. The intent of the elevations was to keep a very simple facade that would not detract from Copley Square, yet offer the pederstrians a minimal glimpse into the space inside. The pederstrians at the street would be able to catch a shadow of the inhabitants inside shopping or be able to see the consumer travelling on the monumental stair at the front of the building - creating interest with the building itself and the products contained within.

Masters Journal V1.0: Portfolio: Generator Diagram
http://810classroom.blogspot.com/2007/10/portfolio-site-analysis.html
Masters Journal V1.0. Saturday, October 20, 2007. The process began by developing a "generator" diagram, a diagram that explores the conceptual statement graphically (see previous posting for concept statement). The diagram depicts units/pods that contain major features/software of the Apple brand located in a central location. ITunes/Garage Band, iLife, iPhoto, and a misc. area (used for learning/teaching or graphic capabilities). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Second Semester Studio/Tech. Link.

Karrick's M.Arch Comprehensive Blog: May 2007
http://karrick-studio.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Karrick's M.Arch Comprehensive Blog. Wednesday, May 2, 2007. 33% Increase in Tuition? So last year we entered into a program that in 2007 will cost us $18,000. But is 2008 due to the increase in tuition and the condensed schedule will cost us $36,000. That is a 50% increase in our yearly responsibility, assuming they don't raise tuition 33% each semester. Hmm. WTF! Almost seems like bait and switch! Posted by Berardi Partners - Architects and Engineers. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 33% Increase in Tuition?
