Toeing the Line: Trekking on
http://silverlinedjenn.blogspot.com/2009/08/trekking-on.html
Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Gearing up for the fall training season. Still trying to figure out if my school schedule will allow me to run the Bass Pro half this year. Since it is a Sunday, I should be able to swing it. It would be nice to get back down to Springtown, and I'm fairly hopeful I could set a new PR. I've seen a lot of listings for running partners, but those folks tend to be either significantly faster than I am, or aiming for a run/walk plan. View my complete profile. Add to the Beauty.

Fake It Until You Make It: $425.26 -or- 4:25-26
http://revivingflood.blogspot.com/2014/08/42526-or-425-26.html
Fake It Until You Make It. Sunday, August 24, 2014. Until tonight. I just paid off our monthly balance. The balances of our savings account and "gift fund" matched my records. We have only two purchases on the credit card since the billing cycle started over. So, I decided to do the easy math of subtracting the roughly $35 of credit card purchases from the checking account balance. Compared to the spreadsheet, we have an extra $425.26 in our bank account. Then my mind went a couple of places:. I'm doubtf...

Fake It Until You Make It: November 2011
http://revivingflood.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Fake It Until You Make It. Saturday, November 26, 2011. It's trite but until I can process anything "life-related" on a deeper level, I just need to write today. Period. The book of Acts says that "in Him (Jesus) we live and move and have our being.for we are indeed His offspring". This is what comes to mind when I think about what I'm most thankful for: the Gospel (literally, good news). I belong to God! Truthfully, what I've struggled with most the last few months is resenting this period of engagement...

Fake It Until You Make It: October 2010
http://revivingflood.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Fake It Until You Make It. Sunday, October 24, 2010. That's when it hit me. The colors of the leaves jumped out at me, screaming, while the cool breeze was scattering them decoratively about the ground. I couldn't help today but stand in awe of our Creator God: less over what He has created; more over what He was creating in that very moment. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." - Philippians 1:6. Friday, October 15, 2010.

Fake It Until You Make It: March 2011
http://revivingflood.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Fake It Until You Make It. Sunday, March 6, 2011. The March of Hope. Then it hit me: Yesterday was February. Today is March. All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. (2 Corinthians 5:14-19; the Message version). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Toeing the Line: May 2009
http://silverlinedjenn.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Adding miles 2 by 2. Did another 2-miler on Sunday evening. I've enjoyed taking advantage of the not-yet-scorching temps in the early evening hours. I know that in a few weeks, Saturday morning runs will be pushed ever earlier to avoid melting onto the pavement. I think that is why I've been avoiding this space. Why keep a running blog if it is centered on complaining? Someone please assure me that I'm right! Friday, May 22, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). If you ended up here, i...

Toeing the Line: November 2008
http://silverlinedjenn.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 26, 2008. It's official. I have made it to one of the categories of elite runners - you know, the group that makes you shake your head and cringe. I have officially lost two toenails. My left pinky toe is now naked and looks REALLY funny. My right pinky toe had been preparing longer and has a really thin nail that grew beneath the other. . How does THAT make sense? I think I need this shirt from OneMoreMile, though. If only it had a naked toe on the back. ;0). Friday, November 21, 2008.
