Learning to Love Our Lives Abroad: Drunk Danish Graduates by the Truckload
http://mnp8.blogspot.com/2008/06/this-past-weekend-streets-of-lyngby-as.html
Sunday, June 29, 2008. Drunk Danish Graduates by the Truckload. Smell of alcohol wreaking from it. haha. I didn't have my camera or video camera on me while we were walking the streets but I got a couple videos from our windows. We've gotten our share of that noise here in Odense but it's just so happy and fun that it doesn't seem to bother anyone. June 29, 2008 10:06 PM. Can you imagine doing that in Lubbock, TX? June 29, 2008 10:08 PM. God knows America could be a tad more liberal. July 01, 2008 7:06 AM.

Learning to Love Our Lives Abroad: Strong Man/ Køge
http://mnp8.blogspot.com/2008/07/strong-man-kge.html
Sunday, July 06, 2008. Saturday we did something a little crazy. We went to a strong man competition, and it was a blast. These men were freakin' HUGE! And oh so very very very very strong. They did some events on the grass which I didn't get any good video or pictures of but here is one video from a lift on the stage. They had to lift these tires over their heads as many times as they could in 30 seconds. This is the guy that won this section of the competition. Check out those thighs! Sheep in a field.

http://mnp8.blogspot.com/2008/06/winding-down-denmark.html
Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Last time we moved away from Denmark we both felt our lives here weren't finished. If we had to move tomorrow, I know we could already leave with our lives in Denmark feeling complete. I am certain, this will make leaving here much easier. It is time to start winding down our Danish Life, yet again. So, here we go.six months and counting. June 25, 2008 8:27 PM. Also I feel bad for Kelli that now that she's finally moved here, you're planning to leave. June 25, 2008 10:27 PM.

Yet, I keep comparing them to last year's dream class! Kyle has started basketball season again! Seems to be enjoying his team - even though he is with them at 6:30 am! He doesn't enjoy much at this hour of the day - so I guess this is a good thing! He is still in grad school and will be finished in March- ish.

http://mnp8.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 30, 2007. A Year in Denmark. Today is November 30th. Last year this time, we were arriving in Denmark to start the current chapter of our lives. Can you believe it has been 1 year today? The best way, I can sum up our current feelings about Denmark is to quote something from a book I recently read. Chris asked, Do you think he was happy? http://hendrixfam.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 18, 2009. I knew it all along! Kyle really thought it was a girl, but mommy knows best! It is still measuring big (1 to 2 weeks ahead of schedule) just like his 9 lb, 23 1/2 inch long - 2 week early brother! Everything looked great - except for the frightning 3D picture of his face! It is still way to early to look at this jumbled yellow blubber mess! Thanks to everyone who has been praying and thinking about us! I will be going soon! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
