Bringing the South to Seattle: April 2013
http://christieandchristopher.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Bringing the South to Seattle. Christopher Christie Seth Kona Marlowe. Monday, April 29, 2013. God has been so good to us! We are so grateful for what He's done. My last post was written as. I was looking for something to hope in. I was struggling to believe in God's promises for our lives. I heard this verse recently and it is so comforting if you're in a place where you're struggling or in a place where you have nothing but hope. The ultrasound began, and to our surprise, we saw a baby with a heartbeat!

Bringing the South to Seattle: September 2012
http://christieandchristopher.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Bringing the South to Seattle. Christopher Christie Seth Kona Marlowe. Saturday, September 15, 2012. How Will You Be Remembered? I was reading Pastor Perry Noble's blog today, and I wanted to share a question that shook me. He was talking about all the political division and drama going on in our country right now. Our two presidential candidates think they will be elected/reelected by how much they slander the other person. No wonder America is so divided! That's not at all how any of us should live.

Bringing the South to Seattle: October 2013
http://christieandchristopher.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Bringing the South to Seattle. Christopher Christie Seth Kona Marlowe. Monday, October 21, 2013. Birth: Making All Things New. The birth of my son was a beautiful experience for me. I know it's messy and uniquely different for everyone, but we can all agree that the whole process and birth experience ends in a beautiful result. It takes time and patience before more teachers are approved to be hired, then are finally hired. Kids have to be split up from their previous classes, which is tough on some&...

Bringing the South to Seattle: August 2012
http://christieandchristopher.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Bringing the South to Seattle. Christopher Christie Seth Kona Marlowe. Wednesday, August 8, 2012. It took about 2 years, but now we feel settled here in Washington. We rented two homes before buying this one, so we're happy to not have to move every year (or less)! We both have great jobs that we love, and we bought a house about a month ago. We wish we were closer to our family and friends, but we do love it here! God has truly blessed us for our obedience in moving here. Backyard where fire-pit will be.

Bringing the South to Seattle. Christopher Christie Seth Kona Marlowe. Saturday, November 26, 2011. It's been a while (sorry about that). Since the last time I've posted anything, a lot has happened, but the biggest change is that we moved. No, not back to the south, but just down the road to a different house. But we love it! Pictures of the new place to come soon! But on another note, Happy Thanksgiving! We had a game night on Tuesday. We had a little bit of fun. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Bringing the South to Seattle: Future and Hope
http://christieandchristopher.blogspot.com/2012/11/future-and-hope.html
Bringing the South to Seattle. Christopher Christie Seth Kona Marlowe. Saturday, November 17, 2012. Many times, when we look at ourselves, we don't see what we can become. But when God looks at us, He sees what we can become by His grace. I often only see what I am currently, and it's usually a pretty negative perception of myself. No, for a long time, he continued to act like a reed that bends every which way the wind blows. Acts 2:41) Peter had indeed become a rock, a pillar in the early church. That w...

Bringing the South to Seattle: April 2012
http://christieandchristopher.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Bringing the South to Seattle. Christopher Christie Seth Kona Marlowe. Friday, April 6, 2012. We all know what happened on Good Friday. Jesus was crucified and died for our sins so we can live eternally with Him. Often, we hear that and treat it as if someone just said, "Vegetables are good for you." We know the truth and have heard it so much, we grow numb to it. God chose us, despite our shortcomings and issues. He chose to sent Jesus to die a horrible death so we can live in freedom!
