Photography, pottery and other puttering. It’s Been a Long Winter. T’s been a long winter… well, not on the west coast. Winter was over before it even began here in the Pacific Northwest. I finished knitting this Rosemont Cardigan. At the beginning of November, right before a short trip to Tofino. Here I am on Chesterman’s Beach enjoying a warm sunny afternoon in Tofino. I’ve wrapped myself up in the sweater. This entry was posted in Knitting. May 6, 2015. This entry was posted in Knitting. April 24, 2014.

Jane Richmond Blog: ABOUT
http://janerichmond.blogspot.com/p/about.html
Jane Richmond learned to knit at age 5 only to relearn the craft through books in her late teens. The unlikely combination of her two favourite subjects, math and art, are what lead Jane to knitwear design. She has been publishing her knitting patterns since 2008, many of which are named for family members and friends who are a source of inspiration. Find her patterns on :. Follow along with Jane :. New Pattern / Boho Blush Shawl for AVFKW and Naturally Straight Forward. February 27, 2017. Almost 2 years ago, my dear friend, Annie Rowden. And I, got together and began working on a project that focused on naturally dyed yarns and enjoyable patterns that were engaging, but still relaxing to knit! At the 2016 Stitches West we were lucky enough to snag some of the most breathtaking, naturally dyed yarn from Kristine Vejar at her gorgeous A Verb for Keeping Warm. I can't wait to wear it all year round :)...

Rowan Big Wool Colour. A few years ago I was in a yarn clearance sale (I know, as if that ever happens! The pattern is just very simple moss stitch in the round, but with a twist literally! http://bunniesandbettas.blogspot.com/2015/05/it-aint-easy-bein-green.html
A knitting blog with a bit of fluff and a few fins. Friday, May 8, 2015. It Ain't Easy Bein' Green. At long last, here's what I've been referring to as my Slytherin sweater (Caligula would have been Slytherin, for sure! A Viper for the Roman People. I've been largely successful, but I have to buy up yarn from time to time. Just have. That's ...
