Thoughts and writings on my life and loves. Wednesday, August 18, 2010. I love the story Larry Crabb. Tells of his conversation with Brennan Manning on why Manning takes silent retreats. Manning said that he just knows that God likes it when he shows up. This morning, I was able to study through several chapters of Paul's writings in the book of Romans. As I was reading, God brought a message to my mind. The monotony of staying home to raise small children can often feel burdensome. Too deep for words.
