Saturday, August 10, 2013. Two things you need to know 1. I don't particularly enjoy surprises (I like to know what is going on and usually have something to do with the planning process) and 2. Jarrod has a hard time keeping secrets. Jarrod and Amy pulled off a day full of surprises in spite of these factors! We had midnight guests, tasty breakfast, a trip to the beach, and a party with the graduates! Jackie, Matt, and Yegor came over with cake and the birthday song in multiple languages!

Friday, October 11, 2013. A few weeks ago, we went to a track meet between 4 orphanages in the region. The weather was absolutely beautiful! Friday, November 21, 2014. Around here we use the term “typical week” fairly loosely, but here is a glance at what a combination of the past few have looked like…. We have staff meeting in the morning and in the afternoon we go to Hope orphanage for craft/game night. Recently we have painted faces, done animal balloons, made homemade play-dough, and traced/colored hands. We currently have a lot of free time on Tuesdays. Saturday, January 10, 2015. We spent New Years Eve at Hope Orphanage again this year! We had an amazing time watching movies, playing games, cooking, eating, dancing, and taking tons of pictures! This is the one day a year he lets us take his picture :-). Atching the celebration in Moscow on TV. In keeping with tradition of the past two years ( 2013.
