Sunday, August 24, 2003. We drove out along the Columbia river gorge to Hood River. We hopped aboard the Hood River Railroad and enjoyed the scenery from the gorge all the way to Parkdale, at the base of Mt. Hood. 80 DEGREES AT THE ROSE GARDENS TODAY. Sunday, April 25, 2004. The Portland Rose Gardens were particlularly beautiful today! No roses in bloom yet - maybe 10 or 15 buds in a place where there should be tens of thousands. But there were plenty of other things to take pictures of. Codi and I took 160 photos today! I thought I would go back to the end of the school year and work my way forward throughout the summer until I get caught up. So here we go! There was a great turnout!
