Fourth Row Center: Film Writings by Jason Bailey. Wednesday, March 4, 2015. RICHARD PRYOR: AMERICAN ID (Day 5). The days tick by. Routines get set. Problems get solved… or they don’t. As per usual, the writing day started with editing: a return to yesterday’s 4043-word monstrosity, which is still pretty good, and too long with no easy solutions. I did find a way to rework the opening paragraph into more of a grabber, which is good—but. Anyway. That’s the latest. With the two reworked essays...Be able to ...

Fourth Row Center: Film Writings by Jason Bailey. Tuesday, March 3, 2015. RICHARD PRYOR: AMERICAN ID (Day 4). Hi, I just wrote another 4000-word essay that needed to be around 2500, how’re you? Was plugged into yesterday, and came to an end at 3:45 with a total of, sigh, 4134 words. I stayed away as long as I could (about 15 minutes) before returning to it for revision, hoping some giant key would appear that would unlock a way to yank out 1600 words, like yesterday.
