December 31, 2015. This morning I concluded my annual Scripture reading plan and, once again, I can hardly fathom my life this year without this discipline. (If you’re interested in a reading plan for 2016 The Discipleship Reading Plan. Has served me well for years). As I completed my reading this morning, I am brought once more to the glorious reminder of God’s great sovereignty applied generously. Today’s final reading was from Job 42. In each of these passages there is the promise of restoration.

Jason is the Lead Pastor of Renaissance Road Church. Jason grew up in the thriving metropolis of Stokes County, North Carolina (and by thriving metropolis, we mean that his home town has three whole stoplights). Jason attended Wake Forest University where he met his wife and soul mate, Kelley, and obtained both a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion and a Juris Doctorate. In 2008, Jason and Kelley started R2 as a place focused on bringing those far from God back to God so that they can encounter life change.
